We helped 75+ brands generate $1.56M+ in revenue. Average ROI: 240% in Year 1

Found 37% hidden revenue. $119K in real sales Meta wasn't counting.
Effing Gear is a US-based caps and apparel brand running Meta Ads at scale. The founder needed answers to two questions: which states are profitable, and what times of day work best? Meta doesn't give you clean ROAS by geography or hour. And worse — the pixel was undercounting actual revenue. Budget decisions were being made on incomplete data.
Exported and cross-referenced Meta Ads spend data (by state and hour) with Shopify revenue data (by billing state and order timestamps) across 90 days. Built a true ROAS model matching actual store revenue to actual ad spend.
Analyzed all 24 hours. Morning (6–11 AM) delivered 3.29x ROAS but only got 21% of budget — the biggest scaling opportunity. Evenings (9 PM–12 AM) were least efficient.
Mapped 49 active states with $500+ spend threshold. Found top performers (Louisiana 4.87x, Wisconsin 4.10x) and flagged high-spend waste states (Texas $3,951 at 2.22x, Florida $3,219 at 2.20x).
Meta reported 1.88x ROAS. Shopify showed 2.99x. A 37% undercount. The client was holding back on scaling because the numbers looked marginal — when they were actually profitable.
| Time | ROAS | CPA | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11 AM | 3.60x | $12.68 | Best hour |
| 8 AM | 3.48x | $11.99 | Scale candidate |
| 4 PM | 3.35x | - | Strong |
| 10 PM | 2.44x | $16.57 | Worst hour |
| 9 PM | 2.63x | - | Below average |
The biggest win wasn't a new ad or audience — it was discovering Meta was undercounting revenue by 37%. The client had been holding back on scaling because the numbers looked marginal. Once we showed the true ROAS using Shopify data, the confidence to scale was backed by real math — not platform guesses.
